Area guide to West Wickham

Surrounded by the ‘green belt of the countryside’, West Wickham is a beautiful suburb located in the South East of London, in the London Borough of Bromley. The surroundings offer a wealth of picturesque parks, including Spring Park Woods, Wickham Common, Sparrows Den, Blake Park and Pickhurst Park.

Many families seeking good school catchment areas are attracted to West Wickham, which is home to a number of well-respected and popular schools. Some of the most sought after schools include Langley Park Secondary School, Hayes Primary and Secondary Schools, Pickhurst Infants Academy and Pickhurst Junior Academy, Wickham Common Primary School, Hawes Down School and Oak Lodge Primary School.

The High Street boasts an abundance of local independent shops, including butchers, hairdressers and small ladies and gentlemen’s bespoke boutiques, as well as larger chain stores. West Wickham offers easy access to London, with fast train services to London Charing Cross and London Bridge taking approximately 35 minutes and 26 minutes, respectively.
